Lies and excuses, advertises services it does not, in fact, provide charges for every add-on. Do not stay at this hotel! I lost critical business because this hotel claimed that using their unsecured PC in the lobby for 15 minutes was the equivalent of a WiFi signal in my room. Crowne Plaza Kensington is a good hotel for its price. It is recently renovated from a Best Western. It is centrally located.

It was perfectly located for public transportation.
TV had to be fixed.
Great location for anything in London. The rooms were spacious, as well as the baths. The plumbing was very modern, too.

Great location and an excellent value.
Room service was a bit lacking and after we received cold coffee and toast without butter or jam the staff was not willing to give us compensation.

The location was excellent - right on the tube line and close to shopping.
Common spaces are a little run down, beds are very hard, and staff (while friendly) are not helpful at all. It's as though they don't live in London.
For the location, this hotel was just fine for a short 2 night stop-over. There is nothing luxurious about this hotel; the common spaces are a little tired, but the rooms are clean. The beds are hard. Note that the hairdryer is hidden in the desk drawer. ...read more
